Teresa has always had a passion for interior design and real estate. For many years, Teresa and her husband have been involved in real estate investing. They have bought numerous "fixer upper" houses in the Cincinnati area , transforming them into beautiful homes and selling them within weeks at top dollar. Teresa realized that along with the obvious cosmetic changes to the properties, "staging" the homes were really their "secret weapon" to selling quickly and for the most money possible. With Teresa's creativity and experience, it was an easy transition into the Home Staging industry. With a background in the creative arts and retail merchandising, Teresa is an expert at transforming homes into beautiful, warm and inviting spaces that capture potential buyers.
Teresa is the Owner and Lead Property Stylist at Stage a Star, Cincinnati's Premiere Real Estate Staging company located in Cincinnati, Ohio and was recently awarded the 2011 "Professional Stager of the Year" for the Midwest region. Teresa is an Accredited Staging Professional and Certified Staging Professional Elite. She is a member of RESA, Real Estate Staging Association and proudly serves as the Ohio RESA State President. Teresa is also a certified instructor in Ohio through RESA and CSPE to teach continuing education staging classes to Ohio real estate agents.

"Our house was on the market for 20 months. The last 14 months it sat empty. Following numerous price reductions, we decided to try staging it as a last ditch effort before renting it out. After contacting a few staging companies, I felt very comfortable when I spoke to Teresa. .
After visiting our home, Teresa formed a plan and worked within our budget using most of her furniture and some of ours. The end result was a beautiful, comfortable home. On top of that, professional, high quality photos of the home were also included with the staging. An offer was made during our second showing while the buyers were walking thru our home. Our first showing also had positive feedback and the buyers were considering it, but they waited too long!
I've learned that price reductions don't make a home more sellable. But giving a buyer a glimpse of what their home and life style could look like, SELLS a home.
